Parent Notice Regarding COVID-19

March 31, 2020

Dear Parents:

Top 3 things to know about your child care services during COVID-19:

    1. ) No need to swipe: We are aware of the new health and safety rules that prohibit parents from entering many child care programs. This change makes swiping your attendance cards extremely difficult. To help with this issue, all absences will be waived until further notice.
*Note: If your child care facility is allowing parents to the POS machine, please continue to swipe your attendance as usual.
    2. ) No need to pay: We know that schools are closed and job security is uncertain at the moment.  To help ease financial stress, we will be covering your parent copays starting April 1st. Your child care facility has been informed of this change and should not request payment from you.  In the event your facility tries to collect fees, please notify the CCMS immediately.
    3. ) No need to worry: We understand that you might want to keep your child(ren) home with you during this time.  As a courtesy, your referral will remain open.  By doing so, we hope you can focus on taking care of yourself and your family while we navigate the changes with the COVID-19 virus. Please contact the CCMS to notify them of your decision to stay home.

Please continue to check your email and the CCMS website for all updates and ongoing information related to COVID-19 and child care services.  We are here to help if you have any additional questions.
