PROVIDER REQUIREMENTS & POLICIES
Parent Share of Cost (PSoC)
The Parent Share of Cost (PSoC) is calculated on a weekly basis and is determined by the family’s gross monthly income and family size.
CCS providers must collect the PSoC from every CCS program family. Each provider may determine their own policy for how and when to collect the payment.
If a family fails to pay their PSoC, the provider must report the failure to pay to their CCMS Financial Management Specialist no later than Friday of the week that the payment was missed. Please call or email your billing rep immediately if a parent fails to pay their PSoC.
Attendance
All CCS providers have attendance rules. If a child is not attending care regularly, families are not signing their child(ren) in and out of care every day, or other issues arise regarding attendance, a provider must call or email their CCMS Quality Admin.
Provider Changes (License Change, Rate Change, Ownership Change, etc.)
CCS providers must contact their CCMS Quality Admin via phone or email at least two weeks (10 business days) in advance of provider changes, such as license number change, rate change, ownership change, etc.
CCS provider facility changes, including a change in ownership, location, or facility/permit type require a new Provider Agreement to be signed.
Payments
Payments are issued on or before the first Monday of the two-week payment period. Depending upon your bank’s processing time, it may take up to two business days for the funds to be available.
